Nicholas Herbert originally trained at the premier design house, Colefax & Fowler. For five years, he worked closely with the celebrated George Oakes. In 1980, he launched his own furnishings and interior design company and in 1989 produced his first collection of furnishing fabrics.
Since then the collection has grown and diversified while still remaining faithful to its core concept of stunning designs produced on beautiful basecloths and paper.
Our exclusive collection of fabrics and papers have been widely acclaimed in all the leading style and interiors magazines including: Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, VOGUE, House & Garden and appearing on the front cover of The World of Interiors magazine twice!
The fabrics and wallpapers have also appeared in a variety of productions such as Atonement, Emma, Pride & Prejudice, Dominic Cooke’s On Chesil Beach and various other Glyndebourne productions.
